Situated
on the magnificent and untouched Great Barrier Island, Awana House
has been created as a special place in a world of it's own, with the
highest standards of comfort, cuisine and hospitality. On a hilltop
overlooking the sea, with spectacular views of pristine beaches, rugged
islands, coastline and endless Pacific Ocean, Awana House is truly
unique in it's location and design. The perfect retreat.
Awana House has an exquisite balance between design excellence, comfort
and flexibility. It is a large 2 bedroom, 2 reception room, 2 1/2 bath,
cedar house with expansive wooden decks which catch the full day sun.
Guests can gather in the evening and watch the sun set and the moon rise as
they share stories of the day. A haven from the outside world.
As
a contribution to the conservation of wildlife on Great Barrier Island 10%
of Awana House room charges are donated to the Awana Catchment Trust.
This helps the work the Trust is undertaking to preserve the unique
character of the Awana area through protecting the habitats that
support several endangered species, and recording the human and
cultral history in the area.
